Course Outline and Costs
Our Los Angeles Campus has had graduates from Asia, Europe, Austrailia, Mexico and Canada. Few schools can boast this kind of international enrollment. We have been in business since 1972, and our 10 week course ($4775.00) and our 2- week course ($2500.00) consists of the following segments of instruction
Key Blank Identification - Learn how to identify over 3,000 key blanks;
Lock Parts & Construction - Disassemble, repair and reassemble residential, commercial and industrial locking hardware;
Rekeying Locks -Rekey residential, commercial and industrial locking hardware including review of high security locks.
Picking Locks and Impressioning Keys - Open locks without a key and hand file original keys;
Codes and Code Machines - learn how to use computer software code resources and make keys to factory specifications;
Installation - Install locking hardware on doors and windows;
Electronic Access - learn how to install, program and service stand alone electronic access locks. Also review electronic access control; (not included in the 2 week class)
Automotive - Make original keys for domestic or foreign (includes car openings) including review of high security and transponders keys; (not included in the 2-week class)
Safes - Recombinate and repair most safe and vault lock boxes. (not included in the 2-week class); Review the different types of safes;
Master Key Systems - Make master key systems from scratch as well as from computer generating software; (not included in the 2-week class)
Business Management with emphasis on California law.
Day Classes are Monday thru Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm (10 weeks)
Evening Classes are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00pm - 9:00pm (18 weeks)
