I took the automotive portion of the class. I was very happy to find friendly service and thorough information. It was a long drive to make everyday for the course but I found the investment of time and money to be very worth it. I have paid for courses in the past but the instructor of this class kept everyone at the same level and at a good learning pace. All of the tools necessary, as well as the skills, are covered in the course and, while it is intimidating to get out there and apply myself in the field, I now know I have what I need to get my automotive clients taken care of. I have already, since I completed the course about 3 weeks ago, been able to service over a dozen automotive calls. Very positive experience and I am now able to take my business to the next level.
Thank you, Teresa, Jeni and Corey, for everything! If you need a locksmith in Huntington Beach, CA, I am happy to help. =)
Since receiving my initial Professional Locksmith education with funding from a Veterans training program, at the California Institute of Locksmithing, and receiving my Employee locksmith license in 2010, I have maintained and upgraded my Employee license, to a Company license recently
With this upgrade, I would like to thank the owners, Corey and Theresa, and staff for the high level Locksmith skills and, just as important, the ethics of being a professional Locksmith, in addition to giving the graduate opportunity to upgrade the skills for a lifetime at no additional cost.
In the late seventies, during my seven year active duty tour in the Marine Corps, I was temporarily assigned to Oklahoma University, in Norman Oklahoma, to be trained to counsel Viet Nam War active duty Marines inflicted with a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to readjust and reintegrate to society. My DD214 reflects a Letter of Appreciation from the Commanding Officer for my positive role in this effort.
I highly recommend California Institute of Locksmithing to all veterans seeking a prosperous and rewarding, low or no stress career, again being of service to society, as a civilian Licensed Professional Locksmith.
As my Company becomes able, I look forward to recruiting Veterans that have become professionally trained Locksmiths with the intention of becoming entrepreneurs and/or employees.
INTERESTED IN A NEW CAREER ATTACHED WITH MENTORS & SUPPORT!!!???!!! WELCOME & LOOK NO FURTHER.
As a recent student i have had the Honor of becoming a LICENSED Locksmith with the guidance of the instructors Corey Friedman and Dave Gelberg. Also let me say, from the initial call to inquire about the school i was greeted with an overload of AMAZING energy from Jeni. she sounded like she was excited to hear and answer any question i had regarding the school/business. I called a few times, each time was pretty much the same energy and excitement. After getting everything i needed, guess what happens next.....i call again. This time Teresa (Admin) Answers who happened to be on a Road Trip (C'Mon!! & still taking calls) at the time and man when i spoke with her, she was more than greatful to back up any questions i asked as well, which Jeni answered already (little do they know) hey just had to confirm. So as far as the paperwork went she sent it right away no delay, no problem. Loved it. This process was so smooth i was locked in and ready to start before i even had the chance to second guess my decision. First Day of class was a breeze, i walked in confident, feeling as i already had known everyone before hand. AMAZING. As for the Instructors....1st thing; Lecture is minimal Corey is about that ACTION. 2nd; They'll make sure you understand and are comfortable with the lesson before moving on, that's Character on their part and security on yours. Just an Overload of PATIENCE and UNDERSTANDING. The experience from start to finish was GREAT. A place put together with PATIENCE, SUPPORT, GRACE, UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSION, and PASSION "beats any other, any where" its not all about price, its the experience. I still have a lot i can say but get your own experience. whatever you do...enjoy it.
-thanks for reading thus far.
This school is awesome! The instructors are great and have many years of experience. They keep in touch with you even after you graduate which helps a lot, believe me. I cannot truly express into words the gratitude I have for Corey and his team. For the first time in my life I was able to create a business for myself doing what interests me and have fun with. If you want to learn how to be a great locksmith and be a true professional, I strongly suggest this school.
When I first decided to take up locksmithing I wasn't sure where to start. No locksmiths would let me apprentice under them, but I was told that knowledge in this field only comes with experience and not to waste money.
I decided to get the education anyway. It's the best decision I made. The level of knowledge and experience we get in the class is top notch. We learn the technical knowledge in class, but Corey also takes us out on jobs for the practical, physical experience. Hands on, we make sure everybody understands the concepts before moving forward, and the experienced instructors always make themselves available to help you where you need it. Even beyond graduation, they keep resources open to former students!
If you are on the fence about it, I promise that this school will make sure you are professionally ready for this field. By the time you finish, you will have a lot of knowledge, some of which most other locksmiths in the field don't have. A great career move for anybody serious about taking up locksmithing, whether you have experience or not.
