As part of our program, we will even help you with job placement. We currently have numerous job listings throughout the United States. We were one of the few nationally-accredited schools for locksmithing until the year 2000.

The year that we left the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) we were awarded a "100% Student Satisfaction Rating" and "Instructor of the Year" for all of their schools nationwide, not just locksmithing.

The California Institute of Locksmithing, a division of Friedman College, is approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau for Private, Postsecondary and Vocational Schools (Cert# 013230) and as such, maintains very high standards with licensed instructors.

People everywhere want security. You may choose to specialize in Residential, Commercial, Safe, Bank Safety-Deposit Boxes, High Security or Automobiles. We make it a point to teach the basics to get the job done right the first time and take pride in providing the best in quality instruction and equipment.

Come visit us! Guests are welcome to sit in on a class to experience how easy it is and how much fun it can be.

I went to this school 3 years ago and it was the best thing I have ever done. I now have a great job and looking to get even a better one. When I go on interviews the fact that I have my schooling on my resume help a lot. And Cory and his wife are the nicest people you will meet. I still go there from time to time to get help with work related stuff. I have been on the job and stuck with locksmith stuff and I take a picture and sent to Cory and 10 minutes later I get reply back with how to fix the problem. You are more then welcome to contact me with any questions you might have regarding the school.

Since receiving my initial Professional Locksmith education with funding from a Veterans training program, at the California Institute of Locksmithing, and receiving my Employee locksmith license in 2010, I have maintained and upgraded my Employee license, to a Company license recently
With this upgrade, I would like to thank the owners, Corey and Theresa, and staff for the high level Locksmith skills and, just as important, the ethics of being a professional Locksmith, in addition to giving the graduate opportunity to upgrade the skills for a lifetime at no additional cost... Click to read more!

I have to admit I am biased. Corey had been my neighbor at his last location. But I am an honest yelper and I wouldn't advise anyone to go anywhere that sucked. This guy is truly the greatest. He is a teacher, a friend, and a fabulous locksmith. He also does several other things so be sure to ask him about his other services. Once you are his regular customer he is always there to help. People still come to my shop looking for him. I promptly look his new address up for them and they often thank me with gifts. This guy will not rip you off, he is fair and direct. Makes the adage "love your neighbor," a really easy thing to do!!! In a world where many locksmiths are scammers, it's good to know this school teaches them to be good guys.
